Advice for hiking Lynn Valley? Out of towner rookie here...
 

Hi!

Any hints or advice for Lynn Valley, one day or two day hike?
Out of towners looking for magic nature times.

Lynn Peak would most certainly be tracked out by now, it is quite popular, you would only need some micro spikes if things became slippery. Or just walk up the trail beside Lynn Creek. Making sure not to go to Hanes Valley, of course.

Lynn peak is the only considerable destination at this time of the year as the longer hikes are not open (do not do them as Martin mentions above). You can do Lynn Peak one day and then maybe Norvan Falls the next! Another option is Lynn Valley to Deep cove via the Baden Powell trail.

One can also hike Baden Powell west towards Grouse; I recall some nice old growth there too, and trail stays fairly low. There is nice bench with views about halfway to Prospect Road:

Norvan Falls, although some think of it as slog (and necessary "evil" for Hanes or Coliseum), is something I really enjoyed whenever I went there:

A bit less crowded is Big Cedar on west side of Lynn creek; trail stays low so could be ok this time of year too:

Continuing to Kennedy Falls is super rewarding, but considerably more rough, could not be in shape depending on North Shore snow conditions

And then there is Lynn Lake; This is advanced hike I'd not recommend to newbies, but some people do it in early spring as Lynn Creek is low; I went in August when everything was dry and enjoyed the trip a lot:
