That "star" at night from the station in the middle of the Eiger is certainly an odd sight when you look up from Grindelwald. Amazing that they build that railway through the middle of the mountain...

I arrived at 6:55am on Sunday to find the gate still closed. The nice ranger was in the hut and came to ask where I was going, then opened the gate to let me in 5min early before closing it again...

If you happen to be up, the northern sky is slightly green right now above the clouds (in my view from Burnaby). A 30sec exposure on your camera will see it better than the naked eye.
