It is just that there is a lot of people that end up there so hence the crowds. I wouldn't avoid it, however. You can do Own Point which is an adventure in itself between Thrasher and Camper.

Also, looks like it would fold over in heavy wind. For protected sites, these ultralight tents are ideal but for the often encountered shit storm they aren't.
