I did not realize the trail system around lake...

I did not realize the trail system around lake hodges was so extensive. Years ago I did one hike there, up to the summit of Bernardo mountain. I so enjoyed it as it was a good hike with great views....

I last hiked up to Panorama Ridge when I was 18. I last ascended the west lion at age 19, haven't been back since, although I look at it every morning from my kitchen window....

Nice post! We were up there last week as well. Spectacular ridge, beautiful larches and fun light scramble up Mt Aenaes N. Better access now that some logging is underway.
