I had my car broken into twice last year. Once in the parking lot
at the south end of Hayward lake, the other in town. Both times
nothing stolen, "just" the door lock twisted out of its socket.
The only stuff I leave in my car are maps, ice scraper, paper
towel. I even open the container between the seats, cupholder, to
show they are empty. Still, they had to open the tincan...

Sigh, what can ya do? I suppose one possibility is to put the
Club on and leave the door unlocked.
