Did something change recently? I just tried uploading some big .JPG's and it only complained on the very large ones (>10MB). I seem to remember it not liking 2-3MB .JPG files.

I don't think there is a bandwidth issue, the large .JPG files upload pretty quick.

Picture captions would be great!

I find the photo uploading is much more friendly, and easier to track and monitor when I set up captions for each of the photos, using the "paperclip method." This is really a great one and so much appreciated.

I think an incentive to garner more attention and use, would be a listing of the top viewed photos showing author and photo# in TR (like it was back before new management took over). I think it would stimulate production of more TR's in a more competitive spirit in a way.

keep in mind that although it might not cost you a lot of data to upload an image but picture heavy photos will take a while for others to view, if their internet is slow or if they have a slower computer, it might not even load for them.

were you always able to upload +10mb images?

No, I have never been able to upload 10MB+ images, but that isn't a big deal. What I was saying above is that something has improved, because before it didn't even like smaller 3 or 5MB images, but now it resizes them.
