I haven't been on clubtread for a long time, but yesterday I came back to look around and when I started looking back at old trip reports I noticed all our photos from trip reports up until 2011 were gone.

I figured that while I had been gone from clubtread (a few months now), the site had declined to the point that now our legacy photos were gone permanently. I sent a private message to the administrator to let them know I was not happy about it.

They (VSDM) not only responded in a nice and professional way to my not so happy message, but their tech person fixed it within hours. I'm impressed.

Just wanted to acknowledge them for handling the situation very well.

Oh nice! Thanks for doing that; I noticed a couple when I was looking up old reports but I figured people had just moved the original links. Good to know its fixed!

Admins -- VSDM in particular -- are really investing a lot of effort into this new CT. Maybe we (users) could beef up our part by providing more quality content in terms of Trip Reports, Gear Reviews etc.

Sorry for the confusion on this one. It was certainly not our intention to have all the photos disappear. This was done inadvertently when moving some things around on the servers to link up the new home page.
