Been thinking of adding more to the site design-wise, etc., and am looking for suggestions. What are your likes and dislikes?

First off thanks. Thanks for the site, its great. It works well and is full of info and growing.

One suggestion I'd have, but am not sure is possible, would be some sort of background on and within the message board. Currently white. Could be forest, leaves, river rocks, etc.

I'm glad you like it! <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle> I'll have a look around to see what kind of backgrounds I can find and/or create for it. I'd try to make something subtle so it doesn't jump out too much. Been thinking of changing the site to fit a bigger resolution as well. At the moment, the site is basically designed around a 640x480 model. Working out some ideas to take it to 800x600.

I've been thinking of putting scouting information on the site - perhaps even an area of the site. If you have info you think might benefit others, I'd be happy to post it up.

Also, been tinkering with the idea of making an events calendar. This was a thought for the HikingBC group - but could also be extended and/or customized for other hiking groups, clubs, or scouting troops.

Would this be of interest to anyone?
