solo75 is right. In addition, personal situation comes into play & everyone is different. You need to tell us what is important to you. Living in smaller place has advantages specially now during pandemic, but you lose amenities, shopping etc bigger cities offer. In tourist towns things will be more expensive. Travel - if you have to fly somewhere, how close is nearest airport? Then lifestyle issues (skiing, etc). Is medical care important to you? (certain things will not be available in smaller towns). Not to avoid giving concrete response, if I had to chose something from list above it would be Fernie or Revelstoke. Both have good outdoors which is important to me. Revelstoke is strategically placed fairly well for trips to say Okananagan, Coast or Rockies. Fernie is smaller but Calgary or Lethebridge are reasonably close
