There is this very popular trail in the Chilliwack area, we all know about. Its been a while since there has been a trip report but suffice it to say not too much has changed in the last few years.
Two trips are noted here, first trip Dec.07 took us up a snow free trail except for a few patches on top of Elk Ridge, and more solid snow by the rock cairn well beyond within 1 km of Thurston Peak.
First trip was about 12 -13 km return....5 hours hiked. and a mild day with mists and fog....
I hiked up with one companion, Jana, main objective was to get a good workout.
