Hope Mountain FSR near Hope is in alright shape to the parking lot for Hope and Wells Pk THs. You'll need 4wd with moderately high clearance for some washed out boulder crawling sections (XL7 made it but idk if a stock Subaru Forester would) and there is one huge boulder in the middle of the road that you have to drive partly into the bushes to get around.
