We want to do another canoe/camping trip this weekend (just got back from the narrows at alouette). Somewhere relatively close by, within 3 hour drive of surrey.

I am thinking about either

a) driving to 20 mile bay on Thursday night and chancing the first-come-first-serve campsites. Then launching from 20 mile bay and camping at one of the spots in West Harrison. I will have to pay to leave my truck in a campsite or maybe I can just pay them to let me park my truck somewhere all weekend.

b) driving to pitt river canoe adventures on friday morning and leaving it there for the weekend ($5/night overnight parking), then canoeing north up the east side to raven creek or osprey creek. It's also FCFS sites, so we would be chancing that no one would already be there.

What do you guys/gals think?
