Yeah it's definitely doable. You don't have to be an marathon runner to do it either. Most I've ever done was a half marathon, and I nursed my legs for days afterwards. Yet I've done Panorama as a day trip, and it was an easy day trip for me.

Black Tusk is a much more challenging day trip, but still doable. I've done it twice.
