Just got back from Cape Scott. Endured the usual chore of pumping water with my mini-works and the constant cleaning of the filter that seems to result from the water at Nel's bight. I'm seeing a lot of new stuff out there and I would appreciate any input on the latest ideas for clean drinking water on the trail.
We have been using the Sawyer Mini squeeze bag filter and it is the best thing ever!!
It's quick and easy to use, lightweigh and small to pack. And all you need to do to clean it is backwash it once in a while using a syringe and clean water. Takes like 5 seconds.
