Question Looking for Advice on Panorama Ridge/Black Tusk

Hello! If anyone is able to provide some advice on this it would be greatly appreciated.

I am doing the Panorama Ridge trail, but would like to camp overnight once finished to do Black Tusk the next day. I am a moderately experienced hiker. The campgrounds at Garibaldi Lake and Taylor Meadows are fully booked, but Helm Creek is still available.

Does hiking Panorama Ridge one day then camping at Helm Creek overnight, then doing Black Tusk the next day then heading home sound overly ambitious or does it sound doable? Has anyone done this before and can provide any info?

Thank you

Certainly doable. I have done all that in one day but of course travelling light. If you are going to stay at Helm Creek campground then go up the Helm Creek trail from Cheakamus. I would say drop your gear at the campground then continue to Panorama and back. Next day do Black Tusk and consult the topo map if your experienced and come down the ridge more directly towards Helm Lake. If you are not experienced then stay on the trails.

if you're not hiking you should be skiing
