Cool Manning Park Hiking

Recently spent eight days in Manning Park, and hiked a number of the trails. Did Windy Joe, PCT Camp, Lightning Lake, Three Falls, Similkameen River, and Dry Ridge in the sub alpine. All trails were in good shape, with the exception of Similkameen, which needed a lot of maintenance in places. We only went as far as the backcountry camp on the PCT Trail, as the trail became very difficult to navigate in some places - crawling under or over large logs, unstable slope, etc. All in all a great time - next time we will do Mt. Frosty and some of the Skyline Trail.

I agree; one of the best places to enjoy an extended stay with nature. Nice to see the flowers are still blooming well.

Hiking is what keeps you young of mind and heart. When the going gets tough, the tough get going..............
