Default Upper Statlu Creek Access, anyone been up there?

Hi guys,

I'm planning a trip to the headwaters of Statlu Creek, between Stave Lake and Chehalis Lake. Just East of Blinch lake.

Access is via North Statlu FSR and some unnamed roads, according to my backroad mapbook.

See the attached images. I want to explore the area where the yellow triangle is, and up to the source of Statlu Creek.

I haven't heard of anyone going up there. I'd like to know how tough the roads are and if I can do with my Jeep or if I'll need to bring quads instead.

Any info would be much appreciated. Gates, creek crossings, washouts, sketchy bridges or anything like that.

Thanks.

Pretty active with logging activity, but i think it's all shut down due to fresh snow right now. You'll have better luck on a sled until spring.

If you've never heard of anyone going there, you haven't done enough Googling
