Camping overnight in Garibaldi

Hi,

I would like to camp for one night at Taylor Meadows at Garibaldi.
It will be my first time ever camping in BC.
For specifically Taylor Meadows, do I need to carry bear related gear?
If so, can you refer me to a guide, what I must take?

Thanks!

From recollection, the food hang consists of ropes and frame with pullies so that you can haul your bag up and leave it suspended. You will need to have a stuff sack or drybag to store your food in and the bag must have a means (clip in point or similar) to attach it to the line.

Thank you very much Dru, that was very helpful!

That is correct there is a food hang. It does have a clip to attach your bag to secure it. When you pull it up. The campground is quite popular this time of year so make sure to pay for your tent pad reservation.
