Hi gang, road was not bad, a new subaru outback made it to 9.5km mark...used a cherokee 4x4 for the last 5km then. Some water bars in the first part so subaru or rav4 minimum needed there, last part HC 4x4 only.

Here is a vid of the last part of the road, gorgeous area!

2.5 hour leisurely hike to the top of Gott peak:
Amazing bang for the effort

Last 5km are rough indeed, with pin stripping and some big boulders.

The main road keep going to nowhere, so make sure you take the left turn before a creek crossing that has 2 logs on it(if you got there just turn back).

Has anyone been up the Blowdown FSR yet this year (2019)? Is the road still 2wd accessible to the 9.5km mark?

Haven't been up more recently, but as of late June, road closed at the first bridge due to it deteriorating.
