Default Current condition at Berg Lake Trail Mount Robson

We scheduled a hiking trip nearly a year ago to Mount Robson Provincial Park and Jasper National Park from 8/6 to 8/13. However, we might have to cancel all of our reservations due to BC wildfires. I would like to get some information from someone who just visited these two places. What is the current condition? Is till hikeable or not? Thank you.

Luckily my hiking trip did not get canceled. The weather was excellent while I was at Mount Robson and Jasper until the day I was driving back to Vancouver. The blue sky turned to orange color and smoke was very thick.

I'm headed there next Saturday and will report back when I get home, but a good idea is to check on instagram/facebook and search for Mount Robson, Berg Lake Trail, etc to find photos that have been uploaded from there recently.

It's been a crappy year! I've had to cancel two trips so far; one from the late snow conditions in Lake O'Hara and another in Wells Gray due to the fires.

Oh, I misread haha! I thought the second post was someone replying to you.

Glad everything worked out! How was the hiking?! We're gunning to the Berg lake campsite on day 1 and are staying there for three days. Can't wait!
