Howe Sound Crest Condition Request
Hey everybody!
I'm thinking about running the HSCT this weekend. Has anyone been out there recently that could speak to the conditions/snow levels up there? Thanks! |
still lots of snow. not ready for running by any means. D.

Conditions are prime now for trail running. In the trees is mostly clear. At treeline and above is nicely consolidated so you can avoid all the rubble, etc. Fast on the downhills especially. Bring your hiking poles and blast it!

Are the conditions suitable for an overnight hiking trip? How is snow looking up there?

just few tiny patches between Unnecessary & Lions last weekend which can be easily bypassed, so it's good for running
