Default Trip Planning Links

@Ryan.in.yaletown & I have been working on a resource list for a while and we thought to share it with the outdoor community for the holidays.

The idea here was to create a one-stop shop for trip planning. It's designed for anyone who enjoys hiking, camping, biking, climbing, skiing, etc. in SWBC. It includes links to many webcams and trail/road conditions updates (including links for general outdoor interests such as the aurora forecast, real time hydrometric data, snowpack/avy info, and so on). Feel free to check it out, use it, bookmark it . If we've missed any, let me know and I can add to it.

Happy holidays and enjoy the winter!

Great list!

One of these days, someone will volunteer some time to grab all the web cam images and temperature station readings so that there is at least a seven day history for each one. That would be amazing.

This is great resource indeed!

It is only for the Coast though. If you ever decide to do something similar for Rockies, I can give some suggestions. I.e here are webcams for Banff / Louise area https://www.banfflakelouise.com/trip-planning/webcams

@Steventy: Thanks. Hah! That would be ideal.

@zeljkok: Thanks Jack . A Rockies resource would be great - I/we don't know enough about the area though. Will have to spend more time out there. Based on our last trip with you to Little Temple, in terms of trip planning, I'd say pack for all possible weather conditions :P. This would be a great longer term goal.

@guntis and @burndug: Appreciate it! Hope you find it helpful.
