Nick

No worries about snow, might be the odd patch in the trees...one can skip over. You should be able to drive up to the high parking lot. Several places I have been to; the old thicker snow starts around 1200 meters; anything below that is the soft thin new snow which would disappear quickly if there was any.

No snow and NO fish, there were several dead falls. We got back to Sumas upper parking lot late and the gate was locked at 6pm, called and paid $120 to Aggressive Auto Towing Ltd to come to unlock the gate for us. Anyway, we enjoyed.

Gloria

sorry to hear you paid that. one of my dreads not driving down soon enough to make it before the gate is locked. Once I drove down , 5 minutes after the 6 pm.... starting to phone, and then the gatekeeper walked up... THIS IS YOUR LUCKY DAY. ....I sure was lucky that day..

These are winter closing times.... later on open times will be extended to 9 pm closing.
