Default Lynn Loop Trail (by accident)

I was suppose to do the Lynn Peak route on Nov. 20, 2015, Friday. It was my first ever attempt of hiking by myself, and using transit for that matter. I ended up doing the Lynn loop trail, going near the big boulders section. It was a wonderful experience to say the least, since I was able to go out of my comfort zone. First time riding the seabus, first time testing my esbit pocket stove on the field, first time experiencing "cold" weather hiking (my reference point is Garibaldi lake summer hike).
I plan to hike Lynn peak this coming friday, nov 27. Now that I know what to expect, I will plan accordingly.

Expect snow on the upper portions of the Lynn Peak trail.

Having a pair of four or six point crampons would do the trick up Lynn if snow and ice becomes an issue, not that you "really" need them but will be able to do that trail in snow or icy conditions with confidence.
Always a useful item to have in your pack this time of the year for those slippery inclines.

Good for you Ponkan. A friend and I did the Lynn Loop Trail along with Norvan Falls last month. Started on the upper trail and came back via the lower trail. Saw the branch off for Lynn Peak and now Lynn Peak is on my list as well. Have fun when you go on Fri. and I'll look forward to your trip report. Cheers.

Yea, thank you Karv. It's the small steps that lead us to bigger ones in the future. I'll be posting my Lynn peak hike soon.
