Anyone know if this road stays open in winter? Generally I remember it being low elevation, but if it snows, will it get plowed?

nope

The Lillooet River FSR is often plowed south from Hwy 99 as far as Tipella, though.

That would work. My guess is it doesn't snow enough down to that road for snow to persist there for long, unlike the Squamish/Elaho Mains. Is that a reasonable assumption?

It is regularly snow closed, some years for months. Although low enough elevation, the way the weather patterns develop dumps way more snow than you'd expect.

Route south to Tipella is indeed plowed, maybe not right away after a big storm but within days, not weeks.

Interesting. Changes the game plan a bit, but not too much if Tipella is accessable. Thanks for the beta guys.
