Default Blowdown pass and twin lakes monashees

A quick question and a quick report.
Anyone been up blowdown pass with any road and bug condition reports?
Just went up twin lakes near Vernon monashees today...hot, smokey ( not too bad) snow free but lots of bugs! Road still rocky and rough for last couple of km....great with big truck and passable with HC if slow driving.

Up there at the weekend met a guy in a 4runner on top of the pass, don't think he had it lifted, i parked at the junction about 6km from the pass, but i might consider driving further in the future, lots of bugs around

Was there last weekend. Lots of bugs - bring a flame thrower with you, or some kind of a protection.

An older stock Explorer made it to the end of the road. Albeit slow, but made it. Air down the tires and you can make it quicker.
