Default Tretheway Cr or Tipella Cr Access

Does anyone have recent information about access in these areas? I'm imagining heinous bush and slide alder at best....

Pardeep (clutzyhiker) and friends spent 3 long days last year in Tipella Creek. They made it to the lake NE of Robertson and back, iirc, and had no time to attempt Robertson.

There's an IPP in Lower Tretheway so the access up to the intake is probably alright. Beyond that expect full Chehalis bush.

Any idea of how far a truck could make it up the road? I'm looking for stuff on the interwebs, this is the best I can find atm - http://www.innergex.com/en/site/tret...section-projet

Drew's got it right. The major crux is finding a way up the headwall. We would've probably summited, but - not naming names - but, somebody told there girlfriend that we'd be back a day early. This consequently didn't leave us enough time; as it took us two days to reach the lake. This certain somebody's name may, or may not, rhyme with lark.

We didn't get far on the Tipella Creek FSR via vehicle; there's major blowdown, we only made it a few km in. I would say this is high clearance 4x4 country. We didn't have any issue crossing through the IPP section. If I recall, there were no time restrictions.

This is hands down the worst bushwhack I've done to date; worse than Skihist or Mt. Ratney. (if you're off route) You're bushwhacking on the FSR, in the clearcut, along the creek, up the headwall... It's bloody good fun though. What are you planning to go for?

Maybe I'll bring a machete for this one. I just want to take a poke around the area, maybe give Robertson a go. Thanks for the info guys!
