On the Grind snow starts after halfway, good steps in the snow to the top. The railings/ropes at the top on the right are still mostly out of the snow. There are trailwork signs at the bottom so they may be working during the day, but they are not there early in the morning.
I haven't been on BCMC but it's probably a smooth highway on the upper sections.

Was up there on Sunday.
Microspikes/mini-crampons needed from about half way up the steep section from ViewPoint Trail to Evans Lookout.

Snowshoes recommended from Evans/Alouette Fork... and I only got as far as the first 'sister' ridge before you drop down again and then ascend to the peak. The snow was just too much to handle when its at your thighs as you try to climb the slopes there.

Had a rainy hike up the BCMC and down Larsen and various other trails this morning. Only saw 2 people coming down BCMC, pretty quiet at the trailhead. Snow starts around 950m, where I turned around.

The last finger of snow on the BCMC bridge. Ground is snowy around this elevation (1000m?) but drop 100m in elevation and it's mostly gone.

Vedder Mountain network of biking and hiking trails. No covid closure there, but there is at risk caution sign about crossing through a construction site which has impinged on the lower section of the trail starting out from Yarrow,. "Duck Farm Loop Trail. We hike from the northeast (near top of map). .....we met a few people who accessed from the south, above Cultus Lake..

Cultus Lake Provincial Park however is closed to everyone.

On top of Vedder East Ridge, snow is gone except for a few fragment patches in logged area near top. and a small floating mass of ice and rotting snow in a large natural pond.

The sat imagery looks like the lake is still frozen so I would expect some snow near the lake.

Default Poland Lake - Manning Park

I'm planning to hike into Poland Lake in Manning Park in about one week and was wondering what kind of conditions I can expect in terms of snow.

I've seen trip reports where there was no snow around that time of year however on AllTrails, 16 days ago somebody reported there was deep snow there. The trail reports haven't been updated since the beginning of June so if anybody could provide some firsthand information or speculation that would be greatly appreciated!

Default Burwell & Coliseum Condtions

Anyone been up Burwell or Coliseum lately? Wondering about trail conditions too from the Seymour Conservation trailhead after Paton Lookout?

Thanks in advance.

Every journey begins with one small step.

Hi tread

I plan to hike to Poland Lake this Wednesday July 1. Hiked to Lone Goat on Thursday, expect snow on north slopes, meadow areas higher elevations. Clear on south slopes..

Actually was a little snow on road going towards Gibsons Skii area, but grassy hills were free and clear. attached a few photos . there might be some snow on Poland Lake itself..
