Yes Very, Very sad. He was a hero to many, and an icon to NSR. Thoughts are with his family at this very sad time.

Awful news! My condolences to his family and friends.

In an odd twist I met the paramedics on their way to him. They were on the wrong trail. I turned them around and carried the defibrillator that was meant for him. On the 7th anniversary of the day he rescued me from Theta Lake.

Again. Terrible news. The North Shore lost a man driven to help.

My condolences and best wishes to all of your family, friends, and coworkers for all you did to bring home those who needed you in their travels. You definitely left this world better than you found it by the sacrifices you made, and that is the best that any of us can do in this world.
Safe travels Tim.

Curtis, if you read this, my sincere condolences to you and your family, and everyone in North Shore Rescue.
I had much respect for your dad and the way he cared about people and did not shy from life's difficult decisions. I will miss him

Absolutely shocking, a huge loss for SAR and BCAS. Condolences to his family and teammates, he will be both missed and honoured for a long time to come, no doubt.

What a terrible loss this is for all of us. I know he has touched the lives of many here. May he rest in peace, and may his friends and family take comfort in the incredible impact his work and dedication has had on the community.
