Default Shamrock Lake, Purcells? has anyone been there?

I've been looking at Shamrock Lake for a while, wondering how the terrain is beyond the end of the Delphine Creek FSR. Does anyone know if Black Diamond mountain can be scrambled from there as well?

Thanks!
Ben

Never been there. But you should contact Rocky Mountain District to enquire about road conditions in the area, everything from Invermere south got hammered this spring with major washouts etc, including Toby Creek. According to the district website http://www.for.gov.bc.ca/drm/services/road-works.htm, the washout at Panorama should be opened today. But still, call Dave Regabliati and get it all first hand; he should know the road status of Delphine FSR and also any recent disruptions on it.
