Thanks for that story J Mace. It almost brought a tear to my eye how that guy just kept moving forward. It also makes me wonder how many people have avy training and carry the gear but wouldn't be able to bring someone back from the edge after they're dug out. Anyone who doesn't get trained through work should consider putting themselves through a class.

Get out, they are bailing already ? We havent even had a real storm yet...nor are any on the horizon, just steady as she goes spring weather

By bailing I mean it sounds from the blog like they are gonna escape down the Cheakamus valley to get to Whistler from near Sir Richard instead of keep going through the Spearhead etc.
