Default Dewdney Cabin

Sad day on the Dewdney cabin north trail. Knew it was coming, but still hard to look upon the destruction up there due to new logging road construction. I'll take a camera up there next time to get some pics. In summary, trail is destroyed roughly a quarter of the way up, getting past logged area takes a bit of bushwhacking now, and knowledge of original trail position on other side of cut. Map below shows areas involved.

I hear you Wulf, been over there quite a bit too, I'm just worried about the cabin with easy road access..

Sorry and fearful what easy access could bring, sad about the loss of good trail... Know love and hard work went into it.

hey wulf...is that pic of the closed sign at the south trail entrance (ie the one right near the curve in the Norrish Creek FSR)??? wondering if you can still access the cabin from that south/ steeper trail.

It is at the north trail . The south is open . I have not been up but assume there would also be signs at the top to stop people from going down the north .
