Default New HD webcam Whistler Peak

Whistler-Blackcomb just installed a new HD camera on their Whistler peak (replaces old webcam)

Why this is great news:

1. It`s HD
2. It`s wide angle
3. I think you can almost see the summit of Wedge
4. View is really far so you can have a good idea of the weather north of Whistler
5. Elevation at 2180 m, this is a luxury to have a Webcam at this altitude, seeing the cloud and snow level gives you a good feeling of what to do for your next adventure.

Cheers!

It's in a new location too, west of the lift instead of east of the lift.

They've also moved the Blackcomb lodge cam up to the top of 7th Heaven, and it's also HD now.

Three of the five displayed are useless, fogged over with condensation and can not see a thing.

Sure, but you have to admit this looks sort of artistic...

Obviously, you haven't bought your Whistler Season's Pass yet (unfortunately, you missed the early bird deadline).

Thanks for the update on the new cams! Now if only one of the North Shore ski resorts would have the balls to put up a webcam...
