If your up for the upana caves near gold river have some nice water falls in the caves and along the river its self. If its frozen around goldriver you should go ice climb some of the large waterfalls towards the shut off pulpmill. I think theres two falls to climb...

I'm still working the details out on a lot of stuff, but I'll have a whole new section covering BC up on my site within about a month or two. So far, I've got about 850 waterfalls in BC and the Alberta Rockies (only have pictures for maybe 150 though).

As for winter waterfall hikes, the main ones have been plugged already. I just found out about Flood Falls near Hope, no idea where it specificly is though. Cypress Canyon has a pair, and I bet a whole bunch on the Sunshine Coast are fine this time of year (Homesite Creek, Gray Creek, Chapman, Lang Creek, Langdale Creek, Appleton Canyon, etc).

BTW - Della Falls is not the tallest in Canada. Not even the tallest on Vancouver Island. See this site for details.

It's still a bit early to do a lot of stuff though (especially if it starts snowing this week).

One of my favorite waterfalls is the waterfall on the Sigurd Creek trail just north of Squamish. I believe it is Crooked Falls as stated in Broken Head's post.

I haven't heard of that falls but it must be your favorite for a reason bcbear. Can you give me some pointers of how to get to it.

Has anyone hiked into Hunlen Falls in Tweedsmuir Park? I'm considering a hike in the Summer of 2004 and any information would be helpful. Thanks
