Default 'Coquitlam Grind' aka Goat Trail?

Goat trail is supposed to be the equivalent of the Grouse Grind, located in Coquitlam and going up Burke. Apparently the trail is not well marked and this is the first I've heard of it. Can anyone shed more light on this?

Thanks in advance,

Ya that gets confused with the "Coquitlam Grind", which is what some people call the Swan Falls trail to the Eagle Mountain Summit, from the north end of Buntzen Lake. A fantastic trail, and a great grunt.

Going up Burke, it's probably the trail from quarry road to monroe lake. If by equivalent to the grind, you mean that the trail goes straight up the mtn with minimal views, yep, that's pretty accurate.

The eagle mtn trail from the north end of buntzen is longer, steeper, had has better views. I think I have a TR of that one (possible both) on my profile if you take a look.

Been up the Burke trail a number of times. Yes, it does give a good Cardio depending on your pace.

Mad Owl Woman: A friend of mine mentioned it and asked if I knew about it.

Sorry calixtomoon, not this one..but thanks.

Farmer/Karvitk: Sounds like the Munro Lake trail to me too. And I agree, the trail is short and steep, making it feel grouse grindish.

I thought 'Goat Trail' might be in the area. There are a few trails leading off to the side on Quarry Rd, might even be one of those.. Looks like I have some exploring to do
