Default Depot Creek Falls

Has anyone been to Depot Creek Falls lately? I tried to get there on Thursday Nov 12/09, but the trail seemed to dissappear.

The trail is really overgrown it sounds like.. at least until you hit the border. Your pics bring back memories of a long, long road walk ....

I was up there in the summer. The trail after the border was in very good shape with way fewer blowdowns than usual. I'm sure it is tougher to follow with snow on the ground, though. The old road you follow to the border is not really that bushy by Coastal standards at all. There are a few turns to watch out for. See this diagram: picturehttp://cascadeclimbers.com/plab/data/504/945Depot_Creek_Trail_info.jpg

If in doubt, just follow the branch with way less bush than the other options. Feel free to ask more specific questions if you have any.
