Default Mystery Creek

Hello Everyone!

Can anyone tell me the condition of the Mystery Creek FSR? I'd love to do a trip up to Statlu soon. Is a 4x4 required or can a good sturdy truck make it?
Thanks Folks!

Depends on your driving skills,if the creek crossing has been wore down, which I expect it has tremendously, then you should make it fine. The mystery road itself is excellent. The road to Statlu may be another issue,I got a gut feeling that it suffered over the winter.Bring a mountainbike.

The road to Statlu lake has been NUKED. Foot traffic only.

sorry no pics.

From the turn northbound at the main logging bridge across the Chehalis River (north end of Chehalis Lake) the road traveling up towards Statlu Lake is in very very rough shape for the first .5 km and then there is a major wash out.

I take my truck through some ugly terrain, but this requires shovels, chainsaws and winches.....and I don't know what the rest of the road looks like.
