In BC most feathers are okay....
"A permit is not required to possess cast antlers, most bird feathers, processed game meat or lawfully owned wildlife." from the Prov Govt website

I was wondering WHICH feathers you would need a permit for but I noticed an earlier poster say is was waterfowl. I'd like to be sure that was true so I know which feathers not to collect. (

I know this is a super old thread- I came across it doing some research as I had thought it illegal to possess eagle feathers anywhere in Canada but an eagle biologist was saying it is perfectly legal in BC but illegal everywhere else in Canada.)
