June 7th - Climbed up the Southwest Couloir/Spur and then descended a bit of the East Ride before dropping down the North Face with a single 30m rap to get from the rock to the snow. ~9.5hrs Cable car-Cable car.
LLW Trail is essentially snow free to the lake. Snow free going around the N side of the lake with intermittent patches starting just before Lambda Lake and continuous just before Russian Army Camp. Quite good snow conditions overall with no slushy slogging. Good time to be up there before the glaciers become a hassle!
A few conditions pics:
North Side of Niobe - The North Spur is probably one of the coolest scrambles I've done in the Sea-to-Sky. A few patches of snow it looks like.
West Face of Serratus - Scramble route looks snowy but there were tracks up it. Rap route is snow free I think (?)
North Face of Serratus - Super cruisy with all snow. Tracks up the right side.
South side of Alpha looking a bit snowy still.
Dione and Tantalus - glacier looks pretty well snow covered still.
Fresh Bear tracks following the trail almost perfectly from Lamda Lake to Russian Army Camp.
