For McGuire, I expect at this time driving to the start point free of snow...since you can park near the 1350 meter level. From there going up the boulders, and near top of gully would be more snow, icy, and slippery. Rather treacherous this time of year with those conditions.

Alouette is definitely a better bet. You have also Evans Peak trail which branches off near the 1000 meter elevation level. of the Alouette trail.
