We've been up Cougar Mountain three times from the Welcome to Whistler (North) sign in the past two weeks. Almost entirely snow-free to the eastern summits and not too buggy. Get it before the bugs hatch!
We've had a few good early season hikes in the whistler area as well. The Cougar Mtn trailhead, is that off the same road to the ziplines and the ancient cedars trail?
