i think you guys are right-there is no longer a trail. and as tempting as bushwacking up several hundred feet sounds, i dont know what my mom would say...i think im going to end up taking the way hiker boy suggested-up the road and ending up near creakside. thats a bit of a detour though...not like i have a choice, i dont have enough experience to do anything else. thanks for trying to help me out
