Was kinda hoping for crusties -- way faster -- plus crampons is all I got now. Sold my snowshoes when I left Van. Would I posthole it with just crampons to the 2nd pump if I stuck to the beaten path? I don't mind postholing it from the 2nd to the 3rd if that would be all/most of the postholing involved.
