Mt. Baker - Bagli & Chain Lakes-Table Mountain Loop May 19/19
Perfect weather for a fabulous day in the Mt. Baker area, warm sunny day ended with dark clouds late afternoon.
We completed the loop counterclockwise, and we used snowshoes for the entirety of the trip from the parking lot and back.. Paul's GPS recorded 11 km return, with near 600 meters elevation gain, and took 5 hours not including lunch and breaks to complete. Most of the way snow was soft and mushy from the warm sun, hard snow under the top layer give us some point of strength to climb up and/or down.
Our route is marked in orange in the attached map, otherwise we followed the route in red. Attachment 266438
