Default Lake Ann Aug. 27, 2017

Not much to report for this hike, except perfect weather and excellent views. Trail is in good shape with only a tiny bit of snow to cross (10 seconds worth) at the ridge just before you descend to the lake. Lake is much more melted out compared with Karl's trip a few weeks ago, with only a few collections of ice around the side. Pretty busy day but not too bad as we got started just after 10 am and most of the overnighters had left by the time we reached the lake.

Nice one! Thanks for the pics. I love the zoom on the Lower Curtis Glacier.

I'm hoping to get out to that area soon and take the climbers' trail to Shuksan for a bit to get a closer look at the glacier.

Thanks guys. We thought about heading over towards the glacier but were feeling lazy and enjoying chilling by the lake. We will probably go back to camp some time and wander around the area a bit more, definitely worth it.
