finally went through my pics and chose a few, wasnt easy, since the weather and views made the perfect opportunity for a person to become a real camera w...e!!!
Since martin has already done such a wonderful job of telling the story I will let my photos speak for themselves here for the most part...

this is what we were leaving behind.. yay!!!!

Leavensworth (spelling?) and very thick soup!

proud to be a member of the hille club

a cool ferry ride and our trek begins here...

at last, I see and get to take a picture of wildlife!!!!

I think this guy had a permanent grin all weekend!!!

(need a decent zoom lens for these guys...sigh, soon, more gear )

our happy little town

sweet view first thing in the morning!!

looks like someone is attracted to thechance!!

our dayhike took us through lots of burnt trees, of which when you touch them you instantly become black!! I was amazed at the contrasting changes our hike took us through, the colors, couldnt get enough!!!

funny looking fungi... doesnt show in the pic here, but this guy was very shiny!!!

top of the grouse grind.. haha, someone mentioned it during the last part of the climb up to Round lake!! (wasnt that bad, but it was funny)

at the end of that day it was sssooo nice to soak the poor feet in the cold water, I need new boots, I had several blisters...ouch!!!

our last day we woke to this

carpets of tiny flowers everywhere, some blue, some white..

and here I finally put my camera away, having enjoyed a fantastic trip with wonderful company, I can hardly wait to do this again... soon, very soon
thanks to all, for the laughs, and the company!!!!
