Default Bogachiel River 13-15 March, 2009

This is a beautiful valley in western Olympic National Park which is sort of a giant Carmanah valley. The only real inconvenience in going there, other than waiting in line ups at the border, is the need to obtain a backcountry permit from a park ranger. The trail is in suprisingly good shape - very few deadfalls to crawl over. Here are some of the highlights from more than 80 photographs (I love digital cameras). This is my first trip report using pictures, so sorry for the cumbersome display...

This is the place

The first day was great weather

Near Flapjack camp

Along the soggy walk out

Nice lil report and pics.
Had you not labeled the location, I would of sworn it was the Vedder River in Chilliwack.
