I can really relate to this. Just the other day I told someone I felt like I was in the movie “Groundhog Day”! For me I think it is long over due for a relaxing holiday.
Best of luck in any new endeavors you may chase. Oh and it wouldn't hurt to buy a few lotto tickets as well.

Great TR, well written words pulls on our heart strings... the yearning to get out and enjoy the fresh air and beauty of our outdoors, away from the office or a job ....

I am curious about which tugboat company you worked for, I am now working for one now out of the office.

Many beautiful shots, and shows the little Jackass Mountain to be a beauty spot worthy of the hike and the views it offers.

Thank you for sharing your story Justin. Being a trucker I can empathize with you on a smaller scale the amount of pollution and needless transportation of materials all in the name of convenience we as a society have become accustomed to.
I wish you all the best as you and your wife move forward in your new chapter together (you told her right?).
Also, welcome to the age of the DSLR! I'm sure you will find it alot of fun and quite revoluitonary to your style of photography.

Great story and pictures. All the best to your future endeavours. I'm sure you will find the "alignment" you and your partner are looking and hoping for.

Congratulations Justin.
It is inconceivable to me that you'll regret that decision.

As usual your photography is outstanding and I think you'll do very well in that field. Congratulations, making huge a life change is very hard especially when giving up a pay cheque. You'll do great!

I started reading this the other day, got sidetracked, and just came back to discover what a refreshing story!
A lot of us struggle, because we become comfortable in our own sense of security, and it's difficult to break the routine...
Beautiful photos Just B, and I wish you and your family the very best on your new journey, for sure your life will be enriched, and you'll find peace in your soul!
