A 10 person group had fun this past Saturday on Mt. Baker.....
The road was drivable to some degree but we had to use snowshoes for around 4 miles to reach the trail head. Since the route is generally of a northern exposure we experienced full - on winter conditions. Creek Crossings weren't a problem as there were solid snow bridges across them. We had followed some previous tracks on the way up but felt uncomfortable coming back down the same way. We decided to take a different route coming down due to avalanche concerns on a previously traveled slope.....
I'll Let the pics tell the story.....
