Fall colours will be starting up there in about 2 weeks and they're definitely worth being there for. Further up the Dempster into the Richardsons is also spectacular.

What's a trip to the Tombstones if you don't spend some time in Dawson City.

We had dinner there on the way into the Tombstones. It was the same weekend as the music festival so we couldn't stay that night.
The inclimate weather during our hike gave us an extra day to experience Dawson.

Great pics! Thanks for posting. Reminds me of driving through Dempster some years ago. Also reminds me of a drive to Kemess mine up north from Germansen Landing in 2007. Never did any hike or run there. Surprised to see trails there. I remember now the whole place was supplied with unlimited alpine with no trees above 500m elevation... totally unlimited endlessly...
